Occupy Wall Street protesters turn their attention to the New York headquarters of JP Morgan Chase bank. The demonstrators are demanding fairer distribution of wealth after the government bailout of banks during the US financial crisis. They delivered their message in letters addressed to JP Morgan Chase boss Jamie Dimon. The letters were handed to a man outside the bank under the watchful eye of employees who drew mixed reactions from the protesters. They view us as, you know, entertainment and its not like they have helped us since Ive been alive, you know. Its not like theyve ever helped us in our lifetime and theyre not looking out for the public good up there. Theyre looking out for their own pocket.I think the people up there are workers and middle-class America for the most part just like everybody thats here today. Its the people on the top floor that need to hear the message and I think the message is trickling up.In Washington DC student protesters affiliated to the Occupy movement rallied outside the offices of student loan giant Sallie Mae. Theyre demonstrating against student loan and debt policy which they say is abusive. There were some scuffles during the protest, a larger one of which is planned for later on Saturday.
