Summary Libya's self-proclaimed rulers say they have control over banned weapons from Gaddafi's regime.

The statement was made by head of the National Transitional Council said Saturday.There are many internationally banned weapons that are currently under our control, Mustafa Abdel Jalil said when asked about the presence of such weapons in the south.The International Atomic Energy Agency on Friday confirmed the existence of raw uranium stored in drums at the southern city of Sabha after US news channel CNN reported that new regime forces had found potentially radioactive material.These weapons are between Waddan and Sabha, said Abdel Jalil, referring to the other central town.We will call for Libyan technicians and the international community to get rid of these weapons safely, he said.
