Summary Clashes broke out between government and anti-government forces in Sanaa, killing about 60 people.

Intensified violence was spreading to more blocks in Sanaa. The clashes broke out on Aman and Huyler streets in Sanaa. The security situation was tense and roads and streets around the areas were all blocked.On Aman street, a resident said anti-government forces came with guns and rocket shells on Sunday, attacking residents and policemen in the neighborhood. While, this press group were going into an alley, a bomb blasted at the entry guarded by government forces. It was a rocket shell fired by anti-government forces from a building directly facing the alley. Gunshots and explosions could be heard from all directions.Violence had intensified so much in the alley guarded by government forces that residents in the nearby area dared not to go out. Only army men, plain-clothes and brave youngsters could be seen on the street.According to press reports, at least 57 people were killed over the past two days in the deadliest crackdown on anti-government protestors in Yemen’s capital of Sanaa.
