Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan is visiting the Libyan capital in hopes of reaping new political and economic dividends now that the leadership of Muammar Gaddafi is over.The prime minister’s arrival comes as fierce fighting continues in Gaddafis hometown of Sirte. It is one of the last pro-Gaddafi strongholds, with the National Transitional Council forces controlling much of the nation.Erdogan is on a tour of several Arab Spring countries as part of a plan to boost Turkeys clout in the region.
