Summary The world tallest tower clock has been illuminated in Saudi Arabia with the arrival of Ramadan.
The clock has been installed on a 601 metres tall tower, making it the worlds second tallest building -- ahead of Taiwans 509 metre Taipei 101, but well behind the Burj Khalifa, the 828 metre skyscraper in Dubai.“During occasions like Eids and new Hijri years, a 16-beam light will illuminate an area of a diameter of around 10 km while 21,000 lamps will beam white and green lights to a distance of 30 km.The clock was also illuminated in Ramadan last year. As the holy Muslim month started in various Arab countries, Europe and Americas, the clock has been illuminated.
