According to witnesses, Syrian forces and gunmen loyal to President Bashar al-Assad shot dead at least six civilians on the second day of raids in the city of Hama.They said that the dead included two brothers. The attacks focussed on the al-Souk area and al-Hader district north of the Orontes river, which divides the city of 650,000 people.Tanks, which were deployed around Hama, remained in the outskirts of the city, they added.
