Summary The US defence department has approved 250 million dollar to buy security equipment for Afghan war.
In an interview with a Pakistan TV channel, an officer of the US defence department said that the equipment included scanners, capable of scanning human body, vehicles and containers as well as Biometric system and special cameras. He said that the equipment would be used by American forces which would be left in Afghanistan after the withdrawal of NATO forces. The equipment would be handed over to the US forces before 2014.
