Summary Clashes between protesters and police continue after sunrise in Cairo.
Clashes broke out late in a nearby area of Cairo where families of some of the 840 people killed in the uprising that led to Hosni Mubaraks overthrow in February had gathered to honour those killed.The Interior Ministry blamed a group seeking to disrupt the event and stir up a riot.Police fired teargas at several hundred protesters, who were demanding that trials of former senior officials proceed speedily.Rescue workers treated people mostly for inhaling teargas.
