Summary NATO spokesman admitted that a missile hit destroyed a civilian home in Tripoli on Sunday.
The Libyan authorities claimed that a civilian house was targeted in an airstrike where several people died.In a Press briefing in Italy, Nato Spokesman Mike Bracken said that a military missile site was the intended target of air strikes in Tripoli. However, it appears that one weapon did not strike the intended target and that there may have been a weapons system failure which may have caused a number of civilian casualties”, the spokesman added.
