After fears of E.coli virus, thousands of people hesitated in consuming vegetable, which has adversely affected the farmers.On Tuesday, a group from the German vegetarian society decided to demonstrate just how safe the vegetables are to eat, by holding a cucumber and tomato eating competition in Berlin despite the recent E.coli scare.A contest of who could eat the most number of cumbers in five minutes was held. People participated in the event and some contestants were seen digging into the cucumbers without peeling it.At least 31 people have now died from the E.coli outbreak in northern Germany.
