Summary Two explosions were heard in eastern parts of Tripoli as NATO continues its air strikes in Libya.
According to reports there were at least two air strikes in the east of the city and plumes of smoke and a fire could be seen as aircrafts were heard flying overhead.Libyan government spokesperson said that the area most affected by the NATO airstrikes was Tripoli because of Moammar Gaddafi’s residence. The spokesperson also said that most of the people killed in the airstrikes were innocent citizens.On the other hand, NATO claims that it was targeting rocket launchers and armoured vehicles.
