Summary Opposition gave acting president Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi 24 hours to form a transitional council.

Anti-regime protesters are trying to put more pressure on Hadi to form a transitional council to create a new government that includes all the political parties. Leaders of the youth camping in Yemens capital, Sanaa and other cities for almost four months, said in a news conference that they would form their own transitional council if the political parties and the acting president failed to do so by the time the deadline had passed. We will give (vice president) Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi 24 hours, which will not be extended even by one hour. If Abed-Rabbo Manrour Hadi has not explained his position (regarding the transitional council) by the time those hours have passed we will form a council in coordination with the political parties and the military. If the political parties does not want to take part in forming the council then the youth will form it, leading protester Yasser al-Ra’eeni said.Saleh, forced to seek medical treatment in Saudi Arabia for wounds suffered in an attack on his palace earlier this month, has refused to leave office despite nearly six months of street protests and many diplomatic attempts to remove him.
