An explosives-laden car was blown up in the south Baghdad neighbourhood of Saidiyah that killed at least three people.At least 16 other people were wounded in the blast while several vehicles were also damaged.Violence has declined nationwide since its peak in 2006 and 2007, but attacks remain common, particularly in the capital and in Diyala province.On Sunday, 16 people were killed during a series of blasts in and around the capital. Many Iraqis worry that violence may increase when US troops withdraw in a pull-out scheduled for the end of this year.
