A US news paper reported that Obama administration was secretly engaged in talks with Taliban.The talks were held in various countries, including Germany, which was mediating the negotiation between the Washington and Taliban.The paper said that the talk were in initial phase and did not reach the point where ceasefire was being discussed. According to the Afghan authorities, Mullah Omar was not directly participating in the talks but his close aides were involved in the process.
