Summary Al-Qaeda leader Saif was close to Osama Bin Laden and was his security in charge since 2003.
An American TV has claimed that Egyptian citizen Saif al-Adel is the acting leader of Al-Qaeda after the death of Osama Bin Laden.Saif al-Adel has remained as an officer in the Egyptian forces. He was the security in charge of Osama Bin Laden since 2003 and because he was close to the late leader, he was well aware of the Al-Qaeda activities.In an interview with CNN, former Libyan leader of a Jehadi Organziation, Nauman said that in Saif was known as Muhammad Ibrahim Makkawi in the Al-Qaeda network. Nauman said that Saif might face some opposition from the Al-Qaeda leaders because they would prefer to make an Arab a leader of Al-Qaeda.The decision to select Saif as an acting leader has not been done by a decision making body instead he was appointed by 6 to 8 Al-Qaeda leaders near the Pak-Afghan border.
