Summary US secretary of the State Hillary Clinton declared leader of the Haqqani network a terrorist.
Badruddin is son of the founder of Haqqni group Jalauddin Haqqani and operational commander of the group. All his assets have been frozen and all those dealing with him in any capacity would also be dubbed as terrorists. Badruddin is also head of the Miram Shah Shoora which controls the group. This group also accepted the responsibility of kidnapping NYT reporter David Rohd. Apart from him, Naseruddin Haqqani and Siraguddin Haqqani has also been declared terrorists.
