Summary NATO planes attacked Tripoli while the rebels have taken the control of Misrata airport.
The NATO strikes on Tripoli have increased where the planes have made several attacks.On the other hand, clashes between the Gaddafi forces and the anti-government demonstrators continue in Misrata. The rebels torched tanks of the government forces after which the pro-Gaddafi forces fled leaving behind their tanks.Meanwhile, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has stressed an end to war in Libya.
