Summary US Intelligence officials said that the evidence found would help the US track Al-Qaeda leaders.
According to US government officials, materials recovered by the commandos from Osama Bin Ladens hide-out in Abbottabad show that before his death, the Al-Qaeda leader was still closely involved in activities of Al-Qaeda militants.The officials claim that total data worth 2.7 terabytes was recovered from the compound which provided information to the whereabouts of Ayman al-Zawahiriand other Al-Qaeda leaders.An American TV claims that laptops, computers, hard drives and storage devices are among the evidence. One terabytes is equivalent to 2000 hours of audio or two million pages of text.According to US intelligence officials, Al-Qaeda is on retreat. He said that it is possible that they leaders have changed their positions. He added that the evidence found would help the US get find them.
