Summary A Bahraini military court sentenced 4 Shia protesters to death and 3 others to life in prison.
According to a Shia opposition leader, they were accused killing two policemen when security forces crushed a pro-democracy protest last month. Ali Abdullah Hasan, Qasim Hassan Mattar, Saeed Abdul Jalil Saeed, and Abdul Aziz Abdullah Ibrahim, were sentenced to death, ex-MP from Al-Wefaq Shia opposition group, Matar Matar, said.
