Summary Jamiat-e-Ahli Hadees chief Maulana Shaukat Ahmad Shah was killed in a bomb explosion, on Friday.
Maulana Shaukat was entering a mosque for Juma prayers when the bomb exploded. Maulana Shuakt along with another person was critically injured in the attack and shifted to the hospital. According to the doctors, Maulana Shaukat succumbed to his injures before reaching the hospital while the other person is in a critical condition. Maulana Shaukat was close friend of Hurriat leader Yasin Malik and had received many death threats.
