Prince William and Kate Middleton are crowned paper doll royalty

Prince William and Kate Middleton are popping off the pages of a new book with a few wardrobe changes along the way.Fans can dress the paper doll versions of the royal pair in iconic outfits worn throughout the couples courtship -- including Kates famous blue dress worn on the announcement of their engagement.That was the day that Dover Publishing president Chris Kuppig decided to create the commemorative keepsake.Selling over 50,000 copies and more on the way, Kuppig wanted to feed the royalty fan frenzy, something that he achieved years earlier with the publication of Princess Dianas paper doll book.Kuppig won’t compare the princesses and notes that they each have their own style. The book shows Kate wearing the cartwheel hat for Williams investiture as a knight and again to a friends wedding.The illustrations by Tom Tierney capture Williams various uniforms, including his Royal Airforce uniform that belonged to his father. Prince William of Wales will wed Kate Middleton on April 29.
