Summary At least 11 people were killed by security forces operation in Syria.
Quoting the eyewitnesses, the international media reported that people were gathering in a mosque for a demonstration in Syrian southern city, Deraa. The security forces attacked them and killed 11, besides injuring many others.Denying the attack, a Syrian state-run news agency reported that unidentified men attacked a medical team and killed four people.Like other Arab countries, demonstrators in Syria are demanding change in the regime. Deraa city is the stronghold of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s opponents and majority of the population there are tribesmen.
