Summary A fire broke out at Paris main concert hall Elysee Montmartre.
The Elysee Montmartre was built about 200 years ago and was a major tourist attraction in the popular Montmartre district of Paris.Mayor of the 18th district of Paris, Daniel Vaillant, said the interior of the concert hall had suffered major damages because of the fire. Regarding the building itself and the music room of the Elysee Montmartre concert room, I dont have good news. I am being told there are huge damages at the moment, he said.Police sources said that the fire which has caused no casualties, was certainly an accident and not of criminal nature.
