Islam phobia increasing to a critical extent in Britain: Warsi

British Minister and Chairperson of Conservative Party Saeeda Warsi said that ‘Islam phobia’ is increasing to a critical level in Britain. She also said that she will continue to raise her voice for rights of Muslims in Britain. An annual Milaad Seerat Conference was organised in London by Faizan-e-Islam. This conference was attended by religious scholars along with Muslim members of all three political parties of Britain.Addressing the conference, Saeeda Warsi said that she was criticised a lot for writing in favour of rights of Muslims but she will remain persistent. Member Labour Party Lord Nazir also addressed the conference saying that Muslims have played an evident role in Britain’s development. Religious scholars also expressed their viewpoints on this event.
