Summary Gaddafi's son Gaddafi said Libya would defeat the protesters even if Western powers intervened.
Saif Al-Islam said this was our country and we would never ever give up and we would never ever surrender adding that Libya was our country, we fight here in Libya and we would die here in Libya. Ha further said that the Libyan people would never ever welcome the NATO and Libya was not a piece of cake. The younger Gaddafi also said that Libya plans to hand over on Thursday three Dutch marines detained by government forces while trying to evacuate European citizens. Saif al-Islam spoke from his Tripoli compound located about 340 miles west of the oil port of Ras Lanuf, where Libyan tanks and warplanes continue to fire on rebel positions.
