Summary Millions of dead sardines were found floating in a harbour marina of Los Angeles.
The massive silvery pools of dead sardines packed the waters around the private boat slips at the King Harbour Marina in Redondo Beach.Biologists have tentatively concluded that the fish died from oxygen deprivation after being driven by a storm into a closed-off pier area. A clean-up effort is underway in an effort to keep the stench of the dead sardines from intensifying.
