No dialogue with Gaddafi: National Council

Summary Protests have been continued against Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi. The protesters have constituted a National Council (NC) to organize their efforts against 41-year rule of Gaddafi.

The members of the council said that no dialogues would be held with Gaddafi. Protesters have marched in a Tripoli district, chanting slogans against the leader. While the son of Gaddafi denied that turmoil was sweeping the country and said the military did not use force against the people, despite reports to the contrary. He said that there was a big gap between reality and the media reports. He also rejected allegations that the military was targeting Libyan citizens.The UNHCR started setting up tents on the Tunisia-Libya border to accommodate the thousands of refugees that have fled the Libya. Thousands of Egyptian and other Arab nationals have been stranded on the border for days waiting for transport to their homes.
