Summary Thousands of red shirt protesters gathered in the Thai capital on Saturday and marched to the Supreme Court in a rally demanding the government release seven of their leaders.

Today we are here to tell them that releasing the yellow shirts but detaining the red shirts and not doing anything to the person who killed people, only detaining the group that was attacked -- the country cant find peace if the court is not fair, said Jatuporn Prompan, a red shirt leader.The seven were charged with committing acts of terror during a crack down on protesters last May. But unlike the yellow shirt leaders who were charged with similar offenses when they occupied and shut down the airport in 2008, they have not been allowed bail despite the supporters bail requests to the court.The Thai Criminal court is due to hand down the result of the red shirts latest bail request on Monday. The red shirts say they will hold amass rally on March 12, if their demands are not met.Seven districts in Bangkok are now under the Internal Security Act including the area where the rally on Saturday was held.
