Summary A colourful mass dance was arranged in North Koreas capital to celebrate leader Kim Jong-il's 69th birthday on Wednesday.
Hundreds of couples - the men in suits, the women in ankle length billowing ballgowns - clapped and swayed in Kim Il-sung Square in Pyongyang. KRT said the dance was staged recently. North Koreans celebrated the countrys biggest holiday to mark the 69th birthday of Kim Jong-il, the isolated states reclusive and ailing leader who is trying to smooth the path for a third generation of family rule.
