Summary A father was reunited with his son who was abducted three years ago, thanks to a nationwide microblogging campaign to search for missing children in China.

Thirty-three year-old Peng Gaofeng burst into tears when he finally saw his six year-old son Peng Wenle at a police station in Xuzhou city, Jiangsu province on Wednesday, amateur footage filmed by a policeman showed. Reunited, but with a legal process still to go through before Lele can return home, Peng said he had never given up. I never lost hope that I would find my son. Thats something I never wavered in. However much it hurt, or how long it took, I always had this belief. This is also a promise that my wife made, he said. Peng and his wife have since had a second son, who was waiting in Shenzhen to meet his older brother for the first time, a local TV station reported. On Thursday, Peng Gaofeng went to the provincial capital Nanjing to take Lele back to his family home. Given that Lele was treated well and was sent to school, Peng said he would not hold it against the other family, who now must suffer losing a son. Lele was snatched from near his familys grocery shop by a man in black jacket in 2008.
