WEB DESK (Dunya News) – WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has expressed that his organization will work with technology companies for defending them against the CIA’s hacking tools.

It was told by Julian Assange in a recent online news conference where he also revealed that some companies had also asked for more details about the CIA cyber espionage toolkit.

"We have decided to work with them, to give them some exclusive access to the additional technical details we have, so that fixes can be developed and pushed out," Assange said.

Although the CIA didn’t respond directly to Assange’s offer, yet the agency apparently disapproved with the statement.

CIA spokeswoman Heather Fritz Horniak expressed: "As we ve said previously, Julian Assange is not exactly a bastion of truth and integrity. Despite the efforts of Assange and his ilk, CIA continues to aggressively collect foreign intelligence overseas to protect America from terrorists, hostile nation states and other adversaries."

Julian Assange professed that the technology is impossible to be kept under control.

"There s absolutely nothing to stop a random CIA officer" or even a contractor from using the technology," Assange said.

He went on to express that the technology is designed to be unaccountable, untraceable an that it is specifically designed to remove traces of its activity.
