NEW YORK (Web Desk / AFP) – The ongoing protests in various states of US has forced the Obama administration to think that interference in the matter will be the right thing otherwise people will turn against the government which will worsen the situation to a greater extent.
A senior official of White House has said that such violence incidents are happening only because there is a lack of trust between the departments and public.
New York police commissioner William Briton has issued a memo in which all the officers have been directed neither to patrol on the streets nor go for lunch alone, rather they should go in a pair.
While talking to Dunya News, analyst Shafique Siddique has said that 992 Muslim policemen are serving in New York and are concerned about this wave of terrorism.
He said that the need of the hour is that those possessing an extremist mind should be expelled from the police department.
Siddique was of the view that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s belligerence has created unrest in the US society.
On condition of anonymity, a black police officer explained that Muslim and black officers in New York Police Department (NYPD) are a victim of extreme uncertainty.
He said that such violence incidents in modern America have proved that democracy has turned into a slave of certain factions.
The jury system has also failed as the white people have never provided justice to the minorities, he added.
