Summary President Barack Obama said US will keep pressure on North Korea after its failed rocket launch.
U.S. President Barack Obama said on Friday the United States would work with the international community to further isolate North Korea after the countrys unsuccessful launch of a long-range missile drew worldwide condemnation. Its important to know that theyve been trying to launch missiles like this for over a decade now and they dont seem to be real good at it. But obviously this is an area of deep concern, Obama said in an interview with Telemundo in Tampa, Florida. What this has done is further isolate them and made it more difficult for them to focus on what they should be focusing on, which is feeding their own people. They make all these investments, tens of millions of dollars, in rockets that dont work at a time when their people are starving. Literally, Obama said, adding that what we intend to do is work with the international community to further isolate North Korea.North Korea, which admitted to the failure of its rocket launch Friday, has received worldwide condemnation.
