French state-controlled utility Electricité de France (EDF) SA has reported that a leak was detected at one of its nuclear reactors following two small fires at the site.The French utility said two small fires were caused by hot oil leaking from a pump on the primary cooling circuit of the reactorand confirmed the incident had had no impact on the environment.Frances nuclear regulator said it had provisionally ranked the leak as a low-level incident and had returned to normal management of the situation after shifting to crisis mode earlier in the day.EDF is the worlds largest nuclear operator, with 58 reactors in France which meet about 75% of the countrys electricity needs.
