Indonesian police killed two suspected terrorists in a raid on the outskirts of Jakarta Friday, a force spokesman said, less than two weeks after officers shot dead five suspects on the resort island of Bali.The suspects tried to escape with a gun, triggering a shootout with the police who shot the two instantly, national police spokesman Saud Usman Nasution told AFP.The raid took place at a rented house on the outskirts of the capital at 3:30 am (2030GMT), with anti-terror police confiscating a revolver, explosive materials, several books about jihad and documents outlining a bank robbery.Were still investigating whether they are linked to terror networks, the police spokesman said. The two are also suspects in the stabbing and shooting of a traffic police officer.The incident came less than two weeks after a counter-terrorism squad gunned down five suspects in two raids on the popular tourist island of Bali. Police suspected that group was planning a bank robbery to finance several terror attacks.
