(Web Desk) - Dubai Gold District has announced plans to build the world’s longest 24-karat gold walkway, which is expected to open to the public within the next two months.
According to a report by Gulf Today, the project is scheduled for completion before the end of 2026 and is expected to become a unique attraction for tourists visiting Dubai.
Rashid Al Harmoodi, Senior Director of the Commercial Sector at Dubai Gold District, said the walkway would offer visitors an exceptional experience while further strengthening Dubai’s position as a global hub for gold trading and tourism.
The proposed walkway is part of Dubai Gold District’s broader development plans, which aim to bring gold trading, jewellery retail, and tourism experiences together in one destination.
Located in Deira, Dubai Gold District was launched in January 2026. The district brings together businesses involved in gold, jewellery, bullion, wholesale trading, and investment.
According to the Dubai Media Office, the district is home to more than 1,000 traders operating across various sectors, including gold, jewellery, perfumery, cosmetics, and lifestyle products.
The new gold walkway is expected to add another distinctive attraction to Dubai’s tourism landscape while highlighting the emirate’s longstanding prominence in the global gold market.
