SWAT (Dunya News) – 2,000 years old Buddhist paintings that were made in fresco art have been discovered in Abbas Cheena near Swat.
The researchers said that this artwork was originated in the region during the Buddhist era.
Director of the archeology department Abdul Samad Khan said, “The discovery of the paintings was a great achievement and that more research was needed to understand the Buddhist era. That even in this era such techniques were used.”
