(Web Desk) – Tourists from all over the world, including the West and Australia, visit Bali which is an exotic island in Indonesia. These tourists are not unaware that they often consume dog meat, considering it chicken as there is a whole network of dog meat trade, claimed by an investigative report.

Some people capture dogs from the streets and slaughter them, for human consumption. Bali tourists are unknowingly fed the dog meat. Even the pets are slaughtered for this purpose, according to Independent.

An animal rights group Animals Australia believes that this business is flourishing day by day. “Seven times more dogs are slaughtered in Bali than in China’s notorious Yulin Dog Eating Festival,” they claim.

They organisation is more concerned about the Australian tourists heading towards Bali every year. They have cautioned the visitors about the hidden dog meat slaughtering and trade at the island. In an undercover operation, they found that dogs were stolen, hunted, poisoned and then killed for slaughtering.
