Summary A nature lover's day out in London's Bushy Park turned ugly when he was forced to climb a tree.
The shaven-headed man was enjoying a walk in the park when he was accosted by an angry male deer in the middle of mating season. His nightmare began after he accidentally walked in between two rutting stags, with one of the fighting duo deciding to turn his attention to an easier target. The unidentified man could be heard shouting I need some help here as he attempted to escape the testosterone-fuelled animal. He was then chased around a tree by the stag, before eventually climbing up its branches to safety.A witness who filmed the incident explained: There were two stags parallel and going to have a fight and all of a sudden a man got too close and was chased by a stag that was hyped up.He was just walking along the path and stopped, but the stag took his choice and went after the bloke instead. He just shouted help, help but you couldnt get close because the stag was just too hyped up.The man was eventually rescued after the woman called police for assistance.Last year the Royal Parks issued a warning about the dangers of rutting stags after a spate of attacks in several London parks.
