Jeremy Foley and his co-driver Yuri Kouznetsov careened off the side of the mountain when their Mitsubishi Evolution 8 spun out of control during a race in Colorado. Driver Jeremy Foley crashed off the road during the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, a race to the summit of a 14,000-foot mountain Pikes Peak in the Rockies on August 12. The car flipped over several times as it tumbled down the side of a mountain, shedding doorsand wheels as it bounced off the rocks. Both men were airlifted to a local hospital but to a steel cage reinforcing the body of the car, survived with minor injuries.
