Summary IG Punjab Habib-ur-Rehman has ordered to all police officials to control their obesity.
He has asked them to follow the order and bring their waists to 36 inches within 15 days; otherwise they would be fired.After the orders from head of department, police officers and officials have started working out at gyms and observed diet control schedule including refusing overeating.Nabeela Ghazanfar the spokesperson said that 50 percent of the officials are suffering from obesity and they are not able to catch the robbers. The IG Office also issued warning letters to all police.“We realize the fact that the department lacks in numbers of police officials and even a person is doing job of six persons; that is why he has no time to carry out physical exercise”, she added.
