Summary CoreWeave CEO Michael Intrator and affiliated entities sold nearly $1 billion in shares since IPO, as investors raise concerns over debt and spending.
(Web Desk) - CoreWeave Chief Executive Officer Michael Intrator and entities linked to him have sold nearly $1 billion worth of company shares since the artificial intelligence cloud provider went public in March 2025, according to regulatory filings cited by Reuters. Most of the sales were conducted under prearranged trading plans.
The sales began about two months after CoreWeave shares reached a record high in June 2025. The stock has since declined and was on track to lose around 24 per cent during the week ending October 16, 2026, amid investor concerns over the Nvidia-backed company's heavy capital expenditure and the debt required to finance its expansion.
According to regulatory filings, the sales involved more than 10 million shares. CoreWeave had a market valuation of $38.44 billion at Thursday's close.
The shares were sold by Intrator and affiliated entities, including Omnadora Capital, where he serves as managing member, as well as two trusts. Approximately $40 million in sales were not conducted under prearranged trading plans but were instead sell-to-cover transactions to pay taxes on vested stock.
Prearranged trading plans allow executives to sell shares according to a predetermined schedule and do not necessarily indicate their views about a company's future performance.
The share sales took place as CoreWeave rapidly expanded its data-centre network and increased spending on Nvidia chips to meet growing demand for artificial intelligence computing.
The company has also built a revenue backlog exceeding $129 billion.
CoreWeave did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for comment.
