(Web Desk) – Experts and persons related to the technological sector have been voicing their concerns regarding the rise of artificial intelligence. The Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai is among the list of persons who see the expansion of AI as challenging for job market.
He said that the rise of AI was unavoidable and the society needs to prepare itself in this regard to meet the challenges.
The Google CEO also explained his apprehension and said, "For example, you could be a radiologist, if you think about five to ten years from now, you're going to have an AI collaborator with you. You come in the morning, let's say you have a hundred things to go through, it may say, 'these are the most serious cases you need to look at first'."
He also mentioned the list of jobs that would be affected by AI such as knowledge workers, including writers and accountants and astonishingly software engineers.
He also talked about the potential misinformation that would be exacerbated with the AI taking over the world.
The Google also provided some ways to deal with the AI technology.
"Society must quickly adapt with regulation, laws to punish abuse and treaties among nations to make AI safe for the world as well as rules that Align with human values including morality," said the Google CEO.
Mr Pichai advocated to include social scientists, ethicists and philosophers among the experts that would provide solutions to the issues posed by the AI.
