We have got posters with very easy messages, so we hope that people seeing us will pick up the message, said Ana.Another German student Dolf stressed on the use of alternate transport system to reduce gaseous emissions into the atmosphere and reducing vehicular pollution.We have to inform the people about the climate change. And this cycle rally is organised to say to the people that there are other ways to move in the city. Taking their car is not the only solution, said Dolf.The authorities stressed on the participation of the youth at the community and at the level of the country as a whole, to build a clean and green future.Apart from the cycle rally, other initiatives like banning the use of polythene bags and planting of trees have been taken up by the provincial government to combat the effect of global warming.India has continuously maintained a stand that it will keep one-third of the total land area of the country under forest cover.
