Google welcomes 10 million users

Google has not yet released official usage figures for the service, though anecdotal evidence suggests that demand has been high and some of the most popular users of the service are already being followed by tens of thousands of people. Despite some criticism Google has created buzz over the internet and more users are switching to see this new social networking site which somehow has created a competition for social giant Facebook.Vic Gondotra, Google’s senior vice-president says that they are working on the criticism posted by the users and they will stay tuned for changes this week. Google remains some way behind its social networking rivals. Twitter has more than 300 million users and Facebook last week announced that it has 750 million.
