US Vice President shoots his first tweet

Although the Twitter account of Biden was created on June 28, the Vice President’s staff waited until July 4 to tweet.The first tweet from Vice President’s office stated: “VP & Dr. B [Dr. Jill Biden] hope you take time to think about our troops & military families this Independence Day, Happy 4th from OVP @JoiningForces.” Vice President Biden’s office joined Twitter in preparation for the first ever Twitter Town Hall with President Obama.The twitter account promises to keep the followers updated about the activities and travels of the VP. Politicians are trying hard to reach public through different social networking sites before the elections. Previously President Obama’s office activated the Twitter account to reach public before elections.
