CALIFORNIA (Reuters) - A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off on Wednesday morning (June 12) from the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, launching three Canadian satellites into orbit.
The launch, SpaceX s seventh this year, took place amid heavy fog which obscured the launchpad. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 7:17 local time (1417 GMT).
SpaceX completed its second land landing on the West Coast successfully, the company said in a tweet after the rocket came back.
The three satellites on board the rocket were RADARSAT Constellation Mission (RCM), built by the U.S. space technology company, system.scripts. Technologies.
