Apple confirmed that its devices can be struck by bugs like Meltdown and Spectre . Their devices can be hacked using and customers can lose their private and sensitive data.
The tech giant released the statement, "All Mac systems and iOS devices are affected, but there are no known exploits impacting customers at this time.”
These flaws are partly associated with Intel chips installed in all the devices. The unwanted malicious programmes can intercept the user activities and functions like speculative execution can go through the history of tasks accomplished by the chips. The private data in the phones can hence be stolen by hackers.
The experts have advised users to keep their computers and smart devices up to date. It was told that such software programmes and apps should be avoided that are not trusted. The fixes are complicated and would require high-level configurations due in future.
Apple is expected to release an update in order to prevent the worse.
