US and Pakistani officials will hold important meetings this month to continue the process initiated under the Pak-US Strategic Dialogue. The new round dialogues focusing on advancement in the fields of Science and Technology is underway in Islamabad.A meeting between chairman HEC Javed Lagari and US Assistant Secretary of State Kerry N Jones was held to review the performance of the 38 projects being undertaken jointly. The participants expressed their satisfaction over the projects. Subsequent to the dialogues Kerry N Jones was addressing the representatives of the media where she informed that new projects relating to the field of Science and Technology would be initiated on joint basis in the coming days. She added that the US is considering ways to provide clean drinking water for the masses and alternative sources of energy for Pakistan.
