Summary Pakistan women’s cricket team has selected 25 players, including six uncapped, for an eight-day skills camp in Lahore ahead of a six-match series vs Zimbabwe in May.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A total of 25 players have been selected to undergo a women’s skills and fitness camp in Lahore from 16 April.
The eight-day camp will take place at the Ghani Glass Cricket Ground. The players have been selected based on their recent international performances, as well as their performances in the recently concluded National Women’s T20 Tournament.
Pakistan women are scheduled to play a six-match white-ball series against Zimbabwe women later next month. The three ODIs to be played from 4 to 9 May will be part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025-29, while the three T20Is will be played from 12 to 15 May. All six matches will be staged at the National Bank Stadium.
The players will be trained by the national team’s support staff, led by team mentor Wahab Riaz.
Among the selected players, six are uncapped which include Amber Kainat, Eman Naseer, Komal Khan, Maham Anees, Momina Riasat and Saira Jabeen.
